Minky has lost a ton of weight yesterday after I rode her 10 kilometers over to my friend Monique's house! how cool is that.
I also had a ride on maverick as well and all was going well until he decided to go all bucking broncho on me! he must of gotten bitten by a march fly or something because he was being a right turd.
I had my V.E.T course today which was fun... take a wild guess at what one of my gradings is on, I have to walk, trot and canter around an arena and I get graded on it! how awesome!
So Minky will have to get prepared for that because she keeps doing her weird retarded bunny hops on the jumps (the V.E.T people also going to look at that)

Katie....forgive my old ignorance...but what is V.E.T. ?
Tuleful Applebuns (go ask your father)
V.E.T means very expensive teaching.....not really, i dont know what it means but it offers a bunch of cources involved with elaborate pathways such as equine science and all that jazz, im doing a simple one on equine vet so i want to become a horse doctor.
Maybe you will get extra points for the retarded bunny hops. *lol*
V.E.T: Vocational Educational Training. This would be career education, getting you ready for some type of specific work.
I teach an a Vocational Technical High School here in the USA so as soon as I did a Google search I understood exactly. Great programs. You should do really well..especially in the riding part.
(Poopsie Picklebuns...go ask your father.)
Aha, if you've paid attention to your dressage lessons, then Minky and you will do fine! As for the bunny hops over the jumps, there's three things you can do for that: Flat work, flat work, and flat work. Trot her over poles laid flat on the ground (cavaletti), over and over and over and yes, it's as boring as it sounds. And do a lot of dressage-type training, get her listening to you and more importantly, trusting you.
Also - make sure there's no physical reason she's bunny-hopping, if she's in discomfort from something, best to know as soon as possible.
