The last week has been nothing but wet, miserable, cold and annoying rain.
I cant ride because is too slippy and poor old Minky fell on her backside because she ran up to the fence so fast that she had to do an emergency break and failed and on top of all that... ITS SPRING! it meant to be getting warmer not colder!
On the bright side, I can watch Minky do stupid things in the paddock and have more time to blog about it ;)

I remember seeing my big 16.2 h Thoroughbred come screeching to a halt at a fence, skidding, and sitting down just like that. When I was done worrying whether or not he hurt himself--he didn't--it was all I could do to stop myself from laughing. I didn't want to embarrass him as he was very sensitive.
Thought it was warmer there already from some of your Dad's earlier posts. Guess the weather just can't decide what season it wants to be. Soon you will be complaining about the heat...again.
it was warmer like three days ago and now its too cold!
the weather has been up and down like a novice on a bucking bronco.
minky is happy about it because to her, the bader the weather, the less chace i will be on her back, so minky has nothing to complain about exept a saw bottom.
So Minky is ok after her fall? Scared me for a minute when I read that.
Weather here in Nevada (hamerica) is in the 70's during the day and the 30's at night - this weekend it is suppose to get colder - I may have to get Buddy's blanket out - or should I say rug??

minky is fine, her back legs just escaped from her and she fell on her bum.. buts shes not hurt which is the main thing
I'll take a nice warm rain anytime. Right now it's 19 degress (Fahrenheit).
I mean, yipes. 19 degrees. That number shouldn't even be on the thermometer unless they change the name to "coldmometer."
